Attempting the “No Child Left Behind Act” are implemented, crawl schools, their curricula and improve their teaching in order to ensure that students have proficiency tests prescribed by the law. Order to agree on all educational and other requirements of the education of youth in the day, many schools have resorted to “teaching to the test,” the shortening of the lunch period, and the reduction or even elimination of the housing.

There are better ways of instruction that students need to deliver without boring exercises or extension of an already demanding school day. For years, teachers program information integration – with high-quality literature for children phonics and other basic skills to teach reading, reading and art lessons combined with history, social studies, computer science and mathematics, and based on the concepts of multiple intelligences theory and differentiated instruction, to reach each child.

The availability of high-quality literature for children has never been greater. Publishers of children’s books offer a rich collection of fascinating stories that reflect the world of increasingly diverse students of primary schools and secondary schools today. Textbook publishers also offer full color, engaging books and magazines on a wide range of topics designed to current standards of the national program needs.

For years, the dedicated teachers and are known theory of multiple intelligences in their classrooms. Harvard Graduate School professor Howard Gardner proposed in his 1983 book states of mind that people learn through seven different intelligences – verbal, logical-mathematical, musical, visual-spatial, kinesthetic, tactile, and inter-and intra. Later he suggested that there ever more intelligences, including the naturalist intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and he has called “existential” intelligence. Teachers will quickly addicted to this concept, a variety of learning experiences in their classrooms with these intelligences. They also have their teaching methods for children with a variety of levels of intellectual development and adapted. The combination of the theory of multiple intelligences and individualized learning opportunities in recent years has been formalized as differential or differentiated instruction. Differentiated instruction allows the direct instruction to teach children the basics needed to provincial and national as well as support for slower learners and enrichment for students at all levels needs to be. A wealth of material both for the theory of multiple intelligences and differentiated instruction is to help teachers create a classroom environment to structure all students.

The requirements of the “No Child Left Behind” law must not cause or developmentally inappropriate expectations of the rigid planning for our children. Schools may want to have lots of creative, child-friendly techniques that help students of all ages gather learning standards use while maintaining their carelessness, the condition of the boy that was fun.

The importance of parental involvement is as accelerating factor in the motivation and education of their children is a fact, accepted worldwide. This research provides a detailed explanation along with specific reasons, the importance of parental involvement in their children’s education. In addition, the parenting techniques, their types and their consequences for non-compliance. It also describes ways to measure the result of the positive involvement of parents. He also mentioned the participation of teachers and the difficulties encountered by teachers, parents with their children (which is also supported by the examples of two teachers, who won with the conscious efforts of the parents involved to devote their maximum attention towards their children ), a single parent participation, efforts to improve their children’s academic levels and joint home and school interventions. A detailed analysis of the different main ideas is given, based on the results of surveys and research projects.

INTRODUCTION:

The inclusion of parents into consideration can be divided into three types: 1) Behavioral, 2) Intellectual and 3) personally. The research project examined the effect of multi-dimensional participation of parents and the resulting progress of children in their studies at different parental resources were dedicated to them. Help through the active participation of parents to their children in their educational development to go through school and attending the open house. Strongly influenced by observing the behavior of their children, they really do you assess the kind of behavior or the allocation of resources required by their children. These caring parents can also motivate teachers to devote more attention to a particular student is based, so that the cycle of parent-teacher involvement. Build and encourage cognitive performance in children is an important concern in the upbringing of the child. Include the way the parents to raise their children in cognitive learning by the different cognitively stimulating activities and materials such as books, electronic media and current affairs at home. This helps the children to practice all kinds of languages in order to understand the skills in school. The results show a remarkably positive behavior at school and with peers.

Two parenting processes namely the support of the parents (SP) and strict training (HP) helped a lot in search of parental involvement in their children’s education. By adjusting the level of support in parenting different positive results were observed. Parenting support for students from kindergarten same positive results. Were used by four supporting measures parenthood in the study, they were:

First Proactive teaching.

Second Calm discussion in disciplinary encounters.

Third Heat.

4th The interest and participation in peer activities.

The evaluations were conducted when the children entered kindergarten and when they reach level 6. It was mentioned a factor that hinder the child’s development: family adversity. It was the result of a process that often included a negative risk with low socioeconomic status, single parenthood and family stress. Maladjustments of children were found to be more common in families with such adversities. No matter how much negative impacts were cast, SP was found to overcome the risks of family adversity. SP was strongly to the closure of cases of grade 6 children who had experienced a single parent or low socioeconomic status (SES) in early childhood related.

In a way to socialize their children, adoptive parents, the techniques of calm discussion and proactive teaching. They have contributed to behavior problems by long discussions with their children, care to relieve them a sense of respect, calmness and peace of mind. Mothers also participated actively in reducing the peer stress among their children. There is also a generally accepted fact that supportive parenting plays an important role in the child’s development of empathy, prosocial behavior and emotional competence. Is on the downside, the lack of support in parenting can in the development of internal problems such as anxiety and depression are related.

Lack of parental attention and care need is the most important factor for the subsequent increase in the proportion of juvenile delinquency (crime among children). The absence of parental instructions causes children to develop irreversible behavioral and emotional problems. They seek attention, to think the use of crime, that in this way they can fulfill their desires. You can resort to uncontrolled violence if not kept in mind. These criminal acts are not up to their agonizing symptoms of low self-esteem, depression, dysphonic mood, tension and anxiety can be stopped, and other disturbances are relieved. And the important role of parents in this regard can not be overstated.

In an effort to describe parental involvement, many researchers use a term “Transition” (Lombardi, Joan). “Transition” is used to describe the period when the children move from home to school, the school in extracurricular activities, from one activity to another within a preschool, or pre-school to kindergarten. The tireless efforts of teachers in the phenomenon of transition can not be ignored. They prepared the children and their parents with the problems of adjustment programs in the elementary schools, the different psychology, teaching methods and structure than the programs offered at kindergarten level had to overcome. In elementary school teachers have serious challenges to motivate parents to have an interest in what their children face are increasing. The teachers adopted different methods to parents on a daily classes and activities at home included. They used to send notes to guide the invitation of parent-teacher meetings, invitation of parental guidance sessions and training courses, the constant attention of the parents regarding their children. Patricia Brown Clark suggests that it is very important to keep the lines of communication between teachers and parents open, so that parents communicate with teachers and receive the latest information about the activities of the school of their children. One way parents to be involved, to plan events and activities in the classroom organization such as volunteering for libraries, as aids in classrooms or meal breaks to organize effectively. The teachers also calls for the homes of children, contact with parents and getting to know the extent to which they contribute to the welfare of their children to know, care decisions. In addition to the above activities, the teachers also assign home activities for parents and their children so that parents continue to learn on their children and the children to study at home. However, it was a bad and disappointing experience for teachers, while many parents have not responded as expected. Many parents were so pleased with their official work showered, that they hardly time for their beloved children.

Moreover, some parents of their school career are not positive and character-growth experiences, so they moved it from a distance from the school of their children to keep as well. It is really difficult and sometimes impossible for teachers to bring the parental involvement to the desired level. However, the activities of two teachers proved very fruitful to make parents involved in their children. They were Carlos Valdez, an art teacher and 8th Class class sponsor, and Mike Hogan, Director of the School of Music. They did it by involving parents in school music festivals and ceremonies. They are excellent examples for future teachers to come proved.

If the academic development of children’s programs are successful, they must share two characteristics:

1) developmentally appropriate practice:

Academic progress of a child is clearly shown in the appropriate practice he / she administers while in school life reflected. During the transition from preschool to kindergarten, a child tends, to learn if given the exact developmentally appropriate practice, a lot of language and reading skills. He developed a keen interest in exploring their environment and interacting (without hesitation) with his adults.

2) Support:

This implies that aid students from low-income families provides. Services include health care, child care and community care. This strengthens the relationship between school and children and creates a feeling of security and confidence among the children. You get to learn that their communities are a part of their school, because the care of school work to help community development.

It is generally accepted that children are good self-teachers. Their self-initiated strategies to improve their expression, creativity, intellect and skills outside of school. The idea is to work through the documentation of young children by Reggio Emilia proven provided:

“The Reggio Emilia educators highlight the amazing abilities of young children and show that it is set by the unity of thought and feeling that young children to explore their world, their ideas, and communicate with others is at its highest level.” ( Edwards, Pope. C, Springate, Wright.K)

The highlight is the fact that the way parents know that their consequences turn out really sincere in handy for their children. The answer lies in the attitude of the children. The degree of parental involvement can be judged by the attitude of the child from his school subjects, his desires and academic performance. There is a direct correlation between academic achievement and attitude toward school. Schunk in 1981 had the following idea of aspiration or academic desires:

“Aspiration level is subjective as a probability that he or she reaches a certain level defined in education.” (Abu, H. & Maher, M)

Consequently, children were sufficient to obtain parental responsibility have much more confidence in their academic achievements and aspirations than those who could not get up the right amount of parental care.
Individual participation of mothers and fathers also plays a crucial role in the development of the behavior of children. Students-parent household were observed to show less positive attitude toward school and studies related to students from families with both parents. A study has shown that parental concern that, despite the sincere efforts of the mothers, “the role of fathers could not be ignored and both served as an important basis for future progress of the child, this can be proved by the following fact.:

A recent report by the National Center for Education Statistics (1997), compared to their counterparts, are concerned with children have taken part in educational activities with fathers more likely their parents (for example, I visited a museum or historical site with their parents during the past month have), and tend to restrict access to different kinds of resources at home (such as members by the proportion of parents, community organizations measured or business, or regularly volunteer in the community). (Flouri, E. and Buchanan, A, Pg.142)

In addition, the involvement of parents and discussed in terms of interventions or prevention programs, to meet which is none other safety measures to ensure healthy and perfect upbringing of the child are implemented. The study found used to detect intervention programs in schools and at home only to the extent of mental abilities in children from different families. The success of an educational intervention can by the following fact, which was part of a “learning plan to improve services 2001-2005″ will be shown in Edinburgh:

—- The Scottish Executive Discipline Working Group, which has studied the causes of misbehavior a student, “show best – better to learn” in schools, a report of June 2001. The report contained 36 recommendations for actions that were then converted into an action plan in 2002. Many of them have implications for school administration. (Craig Millar Instep Project)

Whether you are in a right-or the homeless or mentally ill change, research and reflection about therapy all the time. What have you learned in the classroom may be obsolete in ten years. If that is not obsolete, outdated and definitely improved. These therapists to meet these amendments do not find their customers do not receive the help they could have achieved.

In social work, lifelong learning means participating in courses of all kinds, based on a better understanding of the many problems you may encounter a typical professional. These problems vary depending on the direct use of the social worker, as if for the government, a legal institution, or to work elsewhere. Problems that can be addressed classes could substance abuse, child abuse and neglect, alcoholism, poverty, and much more. These classes and materials have been developed to find the workers and implement new and effective ways to communicate and discuss their charges.

In all forms of treatment, including social work, education is important as the science of psychotherapy constantly evolving and changing. What was common knowledge in a decade as obsolete in the next bunk. This is obviously true, even the hard sciences. Although there are some basic tenants that any therapist can vary, there are also a wide variety of opinions on this point. Studies and anecdotal evidence for various forms of treatment and counseling. That is why it is so important for a therapist to learn more at every opportunity. Something else to do, so more modern interpretations and theories to go unnoticed and unchecked.

For most people involved in social work, education is more than personal growth, however. Many states require them to keep education as an issue to be certified to operate in the field. Some classes and materials may be designated by the State to meet the specific problems of the community. For example, if the unemployment rate is particularly high, it may be to focus the interest of the social workers of the state, such as helping the unemployed and job hunting. The material can be used for purposes of re-certification can be used not only in the state colleges and universities, but through online courses, books and courses on DVD as well, therapists and social workers found that a wealth of options to choose from.

In the field of social work continuing education credits are often required to maintain certification. For more information, please visit http://www.psychotherapynetworker.org/social-work-continuing-education.
